Just When We Thought Google Wasn’t Evil…
Although we showed how Google Canada stepped up to the plate last week (but probably not on their own accord), Google.com is starting to worry us. It appears as though Google News publishes “news” from al-Manar, the official news organization of the terrorist group Hezbollah. Google seems to have a process in place to choose their news sources, which makes their choice of Hezbollah’s news disturbing.
A more detailed description of this occurence is given in the Counter Terrorism Blog. The CTB gives the following advice:
If you find the inclusion of al-Manar as a Google News source outrageous, I encourage you to send a polite but firm e-mail to source-suggestions@google.com encouraging them to remove al-Manar as a news source.
Does Google actually think Hezbollah is a reliable source for news? If you think that Hezbollah’s inclusion in Google News, write them at the above email address. The more email they get about this, the better… Apparently we have to keep Google in line.

I dislike countries that use 21st century weapons against civilians.
I guess, by extension, I dislike the war-hawks that push for such horrors.
What does that make me ?
It seems to me,
that a group of people trying to justify such a war
(when no justification exists)
would NEED to find/create evidence of “hatred”.
The so-called “New Anti-Semitism” is in lock-step with such genocidal wars.

Leonard, apparently you don’t understand the threats that Israel deals with and has dealt with for a long, long time. Israelis want to be just like Canadians - to live in peace and prosperity. Canada, which you’re blessed to live in, doesn’t have to deal with American missiles dropping on it constantly. As a Canadian, you can’t understand what it’s like to try to live a normal life (as you do), with the threat of being killed all the time by a missile or suicide bomber.
As for your assertion that Jews have tried to find evidence of hatred, you’re off-base. And that, my friend, is why I’m happy you don’t represent your government - the Canadian government was the first to withdraw from Durban II “anti-racism” conference, which will simply be a repeat of the first Durban conference where Israel was singled out and Jews were portrayed as they have been for centuries. I applaud your government - I don’t applaud you.

As can be seen by reading history and current events,
Jews have come into conflict
with virtually all of their neighbors throughout history.
For example, in England, the Magna Carta came about
to prevent Jews from preying on widows and orphans,
and in the last one hundred years they have come into
conflict with their neighbors in Germany, Russia, Palestine,
and now in America.
Judaism seems to be sort of a cultural cancer
that penetrates healthy organisms (Nations),
gets a few key neurons (National political leaders)
under their control,
and uses the few neutrons they control
to suck the life out of the formally healthy organism,
and after they consume and weaken their host,
they move on en masse to a new, nutritious, organism.
In order to rationalize their expulsion from former host
nations Jews portray themselves as harmless, virtuous victims,
rather than a dangerous cancer.
Medical researchers could learn a lot
about how cancers operate at the micro level
by analyzing how Jews operate at the macro level.

Tom, has it ever occurred to you that perhaps it is others who have issue with the Jews and not Jews who have issues with others? All the conflicts that you pointed out were because people couldn’t accept Jews for who they were - they had issues with them (in the order given by you - England, Germany, Russia, “Palestine”, America) a) not being Christian, b) not being Aryan, c) believing in God, d) not being Muslim and e) believing that Jews should have a right to their own country just like every other religion.
You are a truly ignorant human being if you think that Jews came into conflict with these countries - the conflict was started by the other parties who couldn’t accept Jews being Jews. I take it you’ve inherited the jealousy of these countries and sounds like you’d be happy if another Holocaust came about. You’re a sick individual - I don’t know why I even bothered responding.

Wow, I think we have a case of a pot calling the kettle black. I addressed your points and then called you ignorant - way to ignore the whole first paragraph of my message.
Thanks for your definition of bigot. Wikipedia actually has a different definition: “A bigot is a person who is obstinately and irrationally, often intolerantly, devoted to his or her own religion, political party, organization, belief, or opinion, especially one who regards or treats those of differing devotion with hatred and intolerance.”
If anybody is obstinate or irrational, it is you. I didn’t have to allow your ridiculous post, but I did - to show how irrational anti-Semites are in their hatred. You want Jews to “become part of the human race”. Jews have contributed and continue to contribute to humanity way beyond their proportion in society. From physics, to medicine, to math, to society, we’ve helped out. All you have to do is take a look at a list of Nobel Prize winners to see how much we’ve contributed to the world. In fact, non-Jew George Gilder just came out with a book calling Israel “the most successful country on Earth.” Wow, and that’s after defending itself in five wars, two intifadas, thousands of terror attacks…and while being surrounded by do-nothing arab nations that believe in bestiality, honor killings, throwing acid in girls’ faces who want to go to school, decapitating non-muslims, and throwing POW’s off of rooftops. Israel also leads the world in secondary education, with more grads or graduate schools per capita than any country on Earth.
