What should Jews do?So, how do we beat Jew Watch and other anti-Jewish sites? Well, there are two options:
There are advantages and disadvantages to both of these techniques. Getting anti-Jewish Sites deletedThis technique is on the surface, the more effective at stopping hate. With the site gone, no information will get to the weak minds that will perpetuate the hate. Having said that, although sites like Jew Watch likely contravene hate laws in the West, there are plenty of servers in other parts of the world, where such hatred against Jews is not monitored or outlawed, so there will always be a place for Jew-haters on the internet. In any case, I'll teach you how to try to get a site deleted from the internet. The first think you must know is who owns the domain name (i.e. jewwatch.com). This can be done by using what is called a Whois service, which is available in many place on the internet (i.e. I have one on this site here). The Whois service tells you who purchased the domain name, when they did it, when it expires, etc. When you type in a domain name into a Whois search tool, you get a Whois record for that domain. Here is the record for Jewwatch.com. Registrant: With reference to the information above, the domain name was registered by Frank Weltner in St. Louis. His email address and phone number appear too. Whether or not Frank Weltner actually runs Jewwatch, we don't know, but the chances are he either runs the site or the server that holds the site. A little lower down, we see when the record expires (June 14th) and when it was created. Finally, we can see where the site is hosted (called the DNS record). Of course, we shouldn't be surprised - the page is hosted on http://stormfront.org/, which is the "White Nationalist Resource Page". The chances are this server is located in the United States, seeing as the owners are "Nationalists" and thus are subject to American hate laws. American Jewish lawyers out there interested in having some fun? Having said all the above, if the site is hosted on a free server (such as tripod.com or freewebs.com), it's usually as easy as contacting the administration of the service and telling them about the hate sites. These free hosts serve thousands of pages and often will not know they are hosting hate sites unless they are told. Do your part - report hate sites! Kicking anti-Jewish from top rankingsThis solution is best and with a concerted effort, the Jewish community can achieve it. In creating this website, I have tried to do my part - the domain name has the word Jew in it twice, the page title has the word Jew in it twice and on this page, "Jew" appears many times, all of which were done intentionally. I could probably have done better with the page, but I hope to make up for it by having a number of links to this site. I will try to add content to the site as time goes on. Please note that another site hosted by Stormfront is martinlutherking.org, a site defaming one of the great African-American leaders. This anti-black site is ranked 7th for the keyword "Martin Luther King". What can you do?If you are a webmaster or you know somebody who is, and you want to do your part, insert a link to this site on your site. I am obviously not into this venture for commercial reasons - I'm here to teach Jews that reacting in the ways we have is counter-productive and there are alternate ways of making a difference, with a bit of effort. The reality is that we will always have anti-Semitism and hatred towards Jews. Let's fight back like good Jews and not be so defensive!
